    Gnossienne #2

    Haven't done much with GPO for a while, but threw this together over the weekend. Not sure where the orchestration (essentially baroque organ and orchestra) came from but I think it has to do with some modern/ancient paradigm inherent in the piece.

    Very relaxing! Is it evocative of a work that I have completely forgotten about until I heard this. The first time I heard the music (that I can't remember the name of) was a version recorded by Blood Sweat & Tears. I think it was on the BST album that David Clayton Thomas debuted on...but don't hold to me that. If the title finally occurs to me I will let you know.
