"Three-Manual Labor" (a demo of the three GPO harpsichord sounds)

    Harpsichord fans,

I have written a piece that demonstrates the three distinct sounds of the GPO harpsichord. It's as though the keyboardist is playing a harpsichord with three manuals. I believe that a three-manual harpsichord actually existed in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It was scarce and very expensive.

(Yes, I know. Manual Labor is the President of Mexico.) Groan.

This is "Three-Manual Labor". The manual changes occur at 01:22, 02:03, 02:41, 03:20 and 03:56.

    Regards,

    Larry A.

And now thanks to GPO, it's scarcely expensive at all! Another excellent piece; nice weaving of melody and bass lines. And the manuals gave a color change that was very effective.

I believe you're mistaken about the president of Mexico, however. This piece was clearly written by the noted Spanish composer, Manual Dexterity.

I loved the change of Harpsichords throughout. Geez, how do crank such masterpieces out so quickly? Do you never sleep?

    Thanks, Larry!

    Thanks for your comments.

As a matter of fact, I get about four hours of sleep nightly. It seems to be all that I need.
