    Exclamation "Desafinado Carioca"

I’ve not posted anything here in the way of a “plug” for a while so here’s a link to my “Desafinado Carioca”. It’s about half GPO (duo Pianos, harp, marimba) and half “other”. A short orchestra/cinematic little ditty with a tuneful but slightly skewed harmonic base. Enjoy! (If you’re a fellow AcidPlaneteer, leave and review and help the tune get more exposure on the Charts.)

    Cheers! KevinKauai

    Kevin,

Awesome man. You achieve some pretty cool colors with the strings layers. It also has a catchy little tune and rhythm. Keep up the fantastic work, my friend.

By the way, that rhythm's going to be stuck in my head all day long! :-)

A fun idea! Your use of occasional dissonance in a latin piece was artfully executed.

Glad you noticed, Daag! That's the udderly (moo!) unrelenting modernist in me -- otherwise it's all too square!
