String Trio, op. 17 -- My entry to the Lincer competition last year

Here is the Trio for Violin, Viola, and Cello that I composed for the Lincer Foundation Composition Competition last year. It finished as a finalist and I am very proud of it! More resume stuff!!!

    I. Allegro
    II. Adagio
    III. Presto

And proud you should be - I can see why you were a finalist - the winner must have been excellent to beat this out. I like this a lot.

A little thing, not about the music itself, which is wonderful, but it sounds like this is straight from a notation program. Pretty good most of the time but occasionally it gets a little distracting – not much, just a little.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Good luck on your entry for this year.

You are right! It is straight from Finale. I am not near the GPO guru that everyone here is. I actually bought it to test my orchestrations and I don't have much time for MIDI performance tweaking.

    Thanks for listening.
