GigaSampler 3, Virtual PC & Windows Media Center Edition Issues

    I just upgraded to GigaSampler 3 on a P4, 3.2mhz and 2
Gigs of RAM running Windows Medea Center Edition
    (MCE), it a Sony Desktop.

I have noticed that the Manual makes a point to say
that GigaSampler WAS NOT tested with MCE. Does that
mean they didn't test it or they tested it and it
    doesn't work?

I am noticing some issues where the system slows down
when I try to run the program, and I'm not sure why.

If anyone is sucessfully running GS3 with MCE, send me
some tips on how to achieve this.

If anyone is sucessfully doing this with Virtual PC,
please let me know, as that is an option as well.

    Thanks in advance.

Don't have any wisdom to offer, but I'm in the same boat. Bought a Dell E510, upgraded from GS160 to GS3 Ensemble, and then read the manual & realized that the OS (XP Media Center) might not be supported. So far, GS3 is crashing with the blue screen and a memory dump, so it doesn't look good. But that might be caused by my old Gina20 too...so I'm going to replace her with a Mia Midi just to get something with supported drivers for XP. That's the problem with buying a new machine, after you spend big bucks on the machine itself, you spend twice as much on all the upgrades!

I bettin' it's the OS. Just buy a copy of XP and dual boot your system.
I don't think the Gina is the problem unless you don't use the latest drivers. Their last driver was a beta driver for their discontinued cards but it is stable and has GSIF2 capability.

I was one of those who thought G3 may work on W2k but it wouldn't work for me.

"Not tested" means just that. I don’t think MCE is different than XP in any significant way.
