Boxer and Tubbs-Jones Challenge Ohio Votes

    ***Advertisments***
Hasn't happened since 1877. The Ohio votes have been challenged in the Senate and now the two houses are debating the matter.

Five senators and several representatives back the objection.

    History in the making, folks.

At the moment it's the last post in the thread. There's a link for a site to write Barbara Boxer directly on the site.

Whether we get over it is questionable. I'm not so sure we're all going to survive the next four years.

By the way, it's totally appropriate to be "partisan," given that the other party is a pile of ~~~~.

This never has been partisan. It's just been about votes counting. Its' been about stopping vote fraud. Doesn't matter what party the criminals belong to.

Sure, we're pissed that Kerry got robbed, but anyone with a brain knows that and Bush's so-called "mandate" just went out the window.

But the important thing is when 2006 rolls around, that we KNOW that our votes will count. That's what this is about. I have no problem with the concept that the guy who gets the most votes wins, even if he's a Republican -- as long as he REALLY gets the most votes. There's every indication that that didn't happen this time (and we KNOW it didn't happen last time).

As for Bush -- yes, four more years of him will be disasterous for our country, but I don't think we'll have him for four more years. I have a feeling that the Bush Administration will be going the way of Nixon -- scandal, threats of impeachment (yes, even with a Republican Congress) and finally either resignation or the boot.

And what happened today demonstrated that there are a handful of politicians out there who actually have b*lls. Especially the women. The democrats stayed on message in a beautifully organized and orchestrated challenge to election fraud.

And this is only the beginning.
