What was the "small bug fix" for the Old Lady?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but what is the "small bug fix" for the Old Lady. It looks like some type of graphic file. How should it be installed?

Sure, what format are you talking about?
Go to: our PMI update database select your instrument and format and you´ll get the list of available updates!
The address is also in the manual.

No, You misunderstand me. I know where the update is on the web and I know it is the "small bug fix" for GS 2). I just do not know what it fixes and how to install it.

    Thanks for your help.

PS: Maybe I had a problem downloading it, and that is was it was in a file format that my computer did no recognize. If that is the case, maybe I just need to try to download it again.

Jeff, There are 2 things you need to do to fix OL for GS 2.5. Theres and .ART file which corrects some sample starts etc.. and theres the new Release pedal.gig. DL both. i think in the FAQ section on the PostPiano site it explains how the .ART files modify the Main Old lady .gig via the GigaEditor. And the new release .gig jsut straight replaces the old one..Is that what you mean? Rich

Re: What was the "small bug fix" for the Old Lady?

I see, the update is a zipped file, you need to unzip it.
The resulting file is a file with an .art extension.
PLease read: What are articulation files is´t on this PMI support FAQ page
    This is what it says:
    What are Articulation (.ART) Files?

Articulation files represent an easy way to provide the user with fixes, modifications, and new features without the need to send out new hard copies of the complete .gig files on additional CD’s. Articulation files contain all the program data of a file, without the samples themselves. Since the sample data is not included, the files are quite small in comparison to the full .gig files. Be sure to save your own articulation files of an instrument when you have made changes to the original .gig file. To use the articulation files, download them to your Hard Drive and unpack them. The files are self-extracting. Just double-click an update file and it will start unpacking. You may wish to create a special folder for your articulation files.

How do I load an articulation file?

    1. Open the Giga Instrument Editor.

    2. Load the .gig file you wish to update into the Instrument Editor by opening the "File" menu, choose "Open," (select the location of the .gig file you wish to update on your HD), click "Open."

    3. Open the "File" menu a second time, choose "Load articulation file . . . ," (select the location of the .art file with the corresponding name to the .gig file you wish to update), click "Open."

    4. Save the updated .gig file by selecting "File," and then "Save."

    5. The save process may take as long as 25 minutes or more to finish, don’t stop this process as data loss will result!

    6. When you re-open the .Gig file the new features are available.
    Best regards,
