    Spelling

It would be nice to see GPO accept the spelling we have here in northen Europe. GPO will not save, record or open if the letters Å Ä Ö are used anywhere in the file path including folders. It is confusing to have to remember and respell a lots of word to these words that don´t mean anything in our language.

    Thank You

Hmm. Only got 27 right. Buuuut..... this was american-english words and many of them I have never heard about. Otherwise there have been surely no misses.

How would you like this: Bläme Micrösöft!

That is what we have to deal with. Sounds like Clousseu in Pink Panther.

Honestly there are only 2 programs I have with this problem; GPO & Tracktion. I could have accepted it if it only was the file I have to change to an unspeakable word, but every, every folder on the way also need to be changed.

If it's any consolation to you, you got 2 more right than I did!

Sounds like Clousseu in Pink Panther.
I LOVE CLOUSSEU! Don't get me started on Inspector Clousseu!
Sir, do you 'ave a licione for your minky? (I try )

At any rate, I wish I could help you out and ease your suffering. There is an old saying, "You can please some of the people all of the time but not all of the people some of the time." Something like that, Or is it, You can please me once in a while but I would rather be pleased all of the time than when ever you please to please me once in a while?

    this was american-english
BTW - American's do not have English!

It's difficult to analyze your problem without knowing which operating system and which version you are using.

If you are using Windows, there are different versions for different languages / character sets.

My guess is that file I/O is handled by the operating system, not GPO.

You also mention "record" which GPO does not do. Might this be a problem with your sequencer?

Perhaps one of the developers can help out here.

GPO Studio has a Record function.

    Re: Spelling

Since the original post mentions "GPO" and not "GPO Studio", which in my mind are two separate programs, I was referring to the samples and the Kontakt player.
