Talking Free CD (download) till Jan 1, 2005

    Hello all,
I figured seeing as it is the time of giving I would post a forthcoming CD (ACC/m4a format) on my site for download. The CD is called Faerielore and is part of a series called 'Dragonwind'. I mostly used GOS for the strings (track 2 uses Halion strings), SAM Horns, Korg and Roland stuff, real guitars and penny whistles, and various other goodies.

All the tracks are in a folder called Faerielore and are numbered.

    Enjoy!

    Chris,

I only had to hear the first track to realize that I would be happy to own this on CD. Is this for any particular type of project?

Excellent work. I can't wait until you pick up GPO. I would really like to hear what you can do with it!

Thanks for making these available. I'll have to download them all tomorrow.

I'm having difficulty playing them, I can download a track and the mp3 shows up locally with the correct amount of data in the file, but it won't play in any of my players (winamp, qt, etc). Any suggestions?

Tough to say but they are not mp3s. They are m4a's which is a little different. It sould play in QT and definately will play in iTunes. Make sure you are using the latest version of QT.

To get it to work on mine, I had to actually download it to my PC and then open it up in WinAmp locally. It wouldn't open from temp.

    Faerielore is magical!

Chris, this certainly is a musical gift. Excellent work. Very cinematic and imaginative!

Thanks for posting this and making your music available to many. I hope you very well with the released of the CD.

PS -For those having problems playing the files, after downloading Quicktime I was able to play them with no problem.
