Why does the piano sound distorted to me?

i was going for an old vinyl record sound...notice the hiss, and dust scratches as well...

The hiss and dust sound fine but the Piano sounds plain wrong. Any distortion that you would have on an old recording would simply make the piano sound more rounded. It was actually impossible to get the sound you have from the desks and tape decks of the time. It just sound like a Mackie hard into the red.

Very nice playing by the way.
