    "Friends" (Viola-Cello duet)

    Fellow Musicmakers,

Here is a simple thing I just wrote for GPO viola and cello only.
I used the "wet" GPO KS viola and cello samples and utilized the Kontakt player.

There are some instances of aggressive rough spots. Forgive them, please.

This is a "bump" before this message is automatically moved off of this page to rest in the dust bin of history.

    Hi Larry,

following your plea I thought I would intercept your piece on its way to oblivion At least you're are honest with yourself as this is what will happen to the work of approximately 100% of people have this interest!!!

It's quite likeable but I have noticed that you prefer to put out a lot of varied pieces rather than spending ages trying to tweak them into total realism....which is fair enough! There isn't time for everything and I guess when you're a prolific composer, as you are, this is the choice that has to be made.

    regards

    Frank

BTW, as a headphone user I find the panning is too severe.

As previously stated, the panning is too severe for me too . . . I too use headphones a lot.

    My, your website is impressive!

Thumbs up Re: "Friends" (Viola-Cello duet)

Aside from all the "Technical" Jive Cosmic Debris, this was like a pleasant walk through the park on a warm sunny afternoon.
    Thanks for sharing!

I appreciate your dropping by my rather eclectic website, Sean.

There's a little bit of just about everything there, even including some of my Bluegrass works.

    Regards to you,

Everyone was on the Technical; I just like what I heard! No need for me to rip it apart theoretically or technically. Hope I didn't upset you!

Very enjoyable. I agree with Styxx 100%. And we've needed the sunshine here in L.A.! It's finally cold enough that I had to stop wearing shorts and t-shirts.

Thank you, uh...(I don't know your name.) (?)

I thought that when the temperature dropped to sixty degrees Fahrenheit that a Winter warning alert was issued in Los Angeles and everybody pours a few bottles of expensive white wine in their car's radiator.

You are truly blessed with great weather for most of the year, aren't you?

    My Best,

    Larry A.
