    Check this out:

    c:\WINDOWS\Help\Tours\WindowsMediaPlayer\Audio\Wav \

Open any of the wav files in a text editor (notepad is ok) and read the last line.

The guy who made the files used SoundForge 4.5, cracked my DeepzOne from the old and not anymore existing crack group Radium...

Yeah, I read about this. It was uncovered by some German music magazine.

The words "egg" and "face" spring to mind.

    Re: Microsoft supports piracy?

Microsoft will of course point to subcontractors...

In this case Bill Brown MAY be in big trouble, as he worked on the XP Tour music:

I'm not sure if he only worked on Tour material outside of the shipped software (as in the Tour on Microsoft's site) or if he also provided the actual .Wav files.

I don't have the Tour stuff installed. Is this tag present in all Wave files?

Ooooh.. too bad. But I know many people who have the license but use the cracked versions just because of complicated installations and registration procedure.

    Lol Tob

I meant this same tag in other Tour wave files, not in yours

    BTW, what about this tagline:

    Gtown: over-the-Tob-percussion

Yeah, deepz0ne is in all the wavs in that directory.. but they don't sound like anything Bill Brown has produced. Trying to find his music somewhere in the windows dirs..

Let's convert some old giga libraries and see how legal all the sample developers are.... mwuhahahaha!!
