    Terry Dwyer has done it again. Announcing Terry's "Scoring for Woodwind" Tutorial!

    Terry Dwyer discusses many things you need to know about scoring for woodwinds in this well-written tutorial. He discusses the various woodwind instruments, how to write for them, blending, voicing, and vaious aspects of woodwind scoring.

    Excellent! Brilliant! Bravo!!

    There seems be a "not found" on the following, though: http://www.garritan.com/tutorial/Woo...les/%5Cww7.mp3 (for Example 7).

    I did really enjoy all of the examples up to that point as they perfectly illustrated the points!

    Been orchestrating for over 20 years and I really enjoyed your WW Tutorial. You covered so much in such a short space and ALL of it was "need-to-know" stuff.

    From all my experience and research, I still learned a few things.

    I have to stop fooling around and pay more attention! I'm on the net last night searching for info on woodwinds with questions that are answered right here! This is fantastic!

    That was a very good piece on woodwind orchestration.

    Everyone might also check on "Treatise on Instrumentation" by Hector Berlioz and Richard Strauss. It's interesting to read two masters' perspectives on the subject.
