    Help!

I have to put together a small Christmas sing a long with at least five Christmas carols / songs to be performed by my youth theatre at a benefit for needy children. Problem, no music and at the moment, no pc to sequence any.
My first thought was to use Karaoke CD and arrange them for the program. However, I humbly come to you for a helping hand. If you have anything I can use that you feel is fit for this program let me know. I need just instrumental, no vocals. I may be able to use a midi file, however, an mp3 would be fine.
So, in advance, I thank you very sweetly for programming oh so neatly!

Now Shaz, don't you go sayin' anything, ha!

    Thanks.

    Hy stixx
I'm shure we can help you on that. Please give a list of what you want to perform so we can see whether its covered already for the christmas CD. If not we organize here who is doing what song for you.

    Re: Help!

If you need midi only try to search the internet for downloads. I do not really compose anything that would pass at the average kindergarten as a happy xmas song, but will help you out by GPO-tise any midi file of a song you have.

    Re: Help!

The age group is 10 to 14 years. It would be nice to have songs done with GPO! I just talked to my partner and he is going to take the two G5's out of storage and let me use one for awhile till I get mine running right.
Now, this is Mac ... I am a PC user. Geezzz!

    Some of the songs we need;

    Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Santa Clause is Coming to Town
    Silent Night
We Wish You A Merry Christmas

    Others to follow.

Oh cool! Can I put you on the program? There will be reference to this site and a maybe you could give me a short bio. When and if you can get the song completed if you can post it here and I will download the mp3.
    Thanks.

    Re: Help!

These two songs are in the christmas CD collection:
    Silent Night --> Quasar
We Wish You A Merry Christmas --> Jeff Turner

    So lets see:
    Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
What kind of arrangement are you looking for. Seeing youngsters, I made this:
    ftp://213.189.138.53/rudolf1.mp3
Since I have to leave now for 2 hours, listen to it and tell me whether I should go on in this direction or not.
Maybe I can make it back for the chat later on.

Hey: I expected you to ask for the little drummer boy....
    talk to you later

    Re: Help!

I'll do Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer for ya. I will have it done for you sometime Monday.
How many verses do you want?
this is the lyrics that I would work with.
If I understand correctly, children will be singing with this as a sing-a-long track? Just came back here to post the lyrics and saw fmfgs's post.

Let me know if I need to help.

    Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
    had a very shiny nose
and if you ever saw it
you would even say it glows
    all of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names
    they never let poor Rudolph
    join in any reindeer games
    then one foggy Christmas eve
    Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
then how the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee (yippee)
    "Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
    you'll go down in history."
