    ***Advertisments***
I just saw this poll, made in different countries around the globe, on
the upcoming election in the US.

    UK
    Kerry 50%
    Bush 22%

    France
    Kerry 72%
    Bush 16%

    Spain
    Kerry 58%
    Bush 13%

    Denmark
    Kerry 72%
    Bush 11%

    Canada
    Kerry 60%
    Bush 20%

    Russia
    Kerry 48%
    Bush 52%

    Japan
    Kerry 51%
    Bush 30%

    Israel
    Kerry 24%
    Bush 50%

    South Korea
    Kerry 68%
    Bush 18%

In Australia, Kerry wins with 54%, In Mexico Kerry wins with 55%

This is all countries which are allies or partners of US, with the possible exception of Russia - some like UK, Spain and Denmark are even original members of the Iraq coallition.

While it is not up to the rest of world to elect the president of USA - we all
participate and follow the election closely.

Is this kind of information reaching the media in the US ??

    best regards
Bjarne - Not a great Kerry fan, but anyone is better than Bush :-)

Yes, but Americans as a general rule are arrogant, so we don't pay that much attention to what other countries think. How do you think we got into the war in Iraq?

well - this is the strange part: I've never actually met an American of
whom I thought he was arrogant. I've met some who where ignorant
of, say European culture and history - but never arrogant, not in real life, not on this site or any other site. I've heard of American turists behaving not so
polite - but hell I've heard of Danish turists behaving like raving lunatics.
Just ask anyone living in the holliday resorts of Mallorca and Ibiza
in Spain, which are perpetually invaded by hordes of Scandinavians and Brittons.

And by the way: The polls also showed that people in Asia, Europe etc.
in general like Amercans - Its just the current Bush administration they
dislike - bounding on sheer hate.

This is actually an integral part of Bush's foreign policy doctrine

    Hi Ern
Sure you can - as I mentioned not many hate Americans as such - Its just
Bush & Co that can't go there. But you might be harrassed by drunken turists,
but thats just business as usual :-)

I'm planning to go to Spain in late November or early december - Leave this
cold and dark northern country of mine and go south to the sunny beaches
of Isles of Canaries. Here in Denmark, we only have daylight 5 hours a day
during deep wintertime - if its clouded, which it very often is, you get
the impression the sun did'nt surface that day at all. In Norway and Sweden its even worse, its bloody depressing - No wonder Scandinavians invade
southern Europa and North Africa during winter.

    best regards
    Bjarne

I'd love to go to Spain! Can an American go there without being harassed? I'm being serious, because of how we believe Europe sees Americans!?
Every body knows in Europe that more Americans voted against Bush than for him, don’t worry.

    We’re informed.

And will probably be the same, since absolutely nothing changed about your voting system...

    The Swedish opinion.

It says "Totalt har ----- personer röstat." The number shows how many voters.

This is the biggest news paper in sweden.
