    Exclamation HELP!!

    Hey,
I have a problem and I was hoping that ANYONE could help me or direct me to someone who can.

I wrote a full ballet 9 years ago for orchestra on an old Roland MT200 Sequencer Sound module.

The Choreographer wants to rechoreograph / perform it again. (wahoo! more money!) I am rewriting some of it and re-orchestrating ALL OF IT (with GPO this time)

    My problem is this:
It would make the job of re-recording this with GPO so much easier if I could just import the MIDI data into Cubase or whatever and start from there. BUT - and here is the KICKER

The Roland MT200 does not save its song data in MIDI format!!!!!

I don't see anywhere in the manuals and helps where I can save it in any other format than its native format. (.rsd)

Does ANYONE know if there is a MAC or PC conversion program that converts Roland .RSD files into MIDI files????

I would appreciate any help at all - whether it is to give me the info I need or point me in the direction hwere I might be able to find this out.

    Thanks a MILLION

    Re: HELP!!

    Jerry,

There are programs like MIDIMaestro (http://www.midimaestro.com/) that import RSD files. Once imported perhaps you can use MidiMaestro to save to MIDI. I'll check around and see if I can find out any other way to do this.

    Hey Gary!!!

This did the trick!!! I just KNEW I could get help here!! (and WOW-so fast)

This lets me save the over 400+ files I wrote using the MT200 and import them into Cubase or Finale and re-orchestrate them with GPO!! I thought I had lost them since my MT200 has been on the fritz for a few years now.

    Thanks ever so much!!!
