128 Midi Channels on 4 Ports?

Not sure how this works. Version 2.5 has 16 channels on each of 4 ports for a total of 64. Looking at the photo on their website, Giga 3 has 16 channels on 4 ports. Does one achieve 128 midi outs by stacking sub-channels under each of the 16 channels? If so, how are you orchestral guys using this with VSL -- for example, 4 string articulations on sub-channels of the Violin 1 channel, etc?

Easy answer. GS3 Orchestra has 8 ports with 16 channels each for a total of 128. Maybe the photo was of Ensemble.

The screenshot to which you are referring is from GS3 Ensemble.

    GS3 Solo - 2 midi ports, 96 voices
    GS3 Ensemble - 4 midi ports, 160 voices
GS3 Orchesta - 8 midi ports, unlimited voices
