Very enjoyable! Can't wait to hear these redone when Gary comes out with the Big Band add-on.

    Pretty nice!

You should call that first clip Blue Bossa. The title seems to fit.

Overall, i think you have a pretty decent understanding of jazz
    harmony.
You could stand to step outside a bit with some melodic minor
scales, wich ultimatly serve as "altered" scales. Or even whole
    tone scales.
These can get you out of the "usuall" min7b5 box. It can add more
    tension on those changes.

Your back up tracks need some help.
But i'm sure you're either working to improve that, or are just
having fun with no interest in producing super duper high quality life like records.
That takes an awful big amount of energy. (and money)

Anyway, thanks for posting clips! I love listening!

I have no interest in producing "records" of any type. I write for the pleasure of it.

    Thanks for your comments.

No..I appreciate your comments and the fact that you took the time to reply.

It's just that I have no interest in the "commercial" aspect of music. What I write is certainly not interesting to the majority of people who listen to music. At my age, I'm just not "with it" any more so I just write only for the fun of it.

That's excellent. I enjoyed your clips.

I feel bad for jumping in with a critique. I hang around on
a guitar forum, where we often post clips, and give
each other advice on how to improve.

I guess that reflex kicked in here. .

I often wish i could have your lighthearted attitude towards music.
Im guilty of forming my self worth through my playing , and
take it too seriously very often.

Sorry if i brought that vibe to this thread.

Anyway, do your thing!! And keep having fun!

You're right, that's what its about. The pleasure of it.
    Cheers,
    TK

Larry I've often commented on how much I enjoy the lightheartedness of your pieces. I would like to add that that hasn't changed and I listen to every one with a smile on my face.
