New Demo from Styxx - Poplar Tree Dance

Styxx has sent in this remix of "The Poplar Tree Dance".

Styxx, your Jedi musical abilities are growing powerful. Very heartful composition, I liked what you did with the solo flute and piano, then how it builds and recedes.
    Great work!

Hope everyone enjoys this as much as I did.

My goodness Sal...you really did it this time. I'm most impressed....you've got real soul (but, hey, I already knew that by looking beneath your writings). I love the ebb and flow, the sensitivity.....the pulse. Magical, one of the best pieces (for my taste) that I've listened to in quite a time. Great orchestration and dynamics too......Quality! (you only get one of these puppies for a hundred dollar bill!) Enya 'wood' have paid good money for this!

I'm letting this cycle....always a good sign that there's some depth in there to listen too. This fascinates me as superficially it seems to be simple....but it can't be as it'd be boring and it's not....clever! Are we seeing the real you for the first time? I look forward to hearing more.....

Congratulations....can't wait for you to finish it....naah I'm joking again....

    Frank

PS it never struck me like this if I heard it the first time...just noticed that it's a remix.
Interesting? factoid....Poplar is the favoured wood for matchsticks....just thought you'd like to know......

Thanks guys! This piece was written for a friend of mine who pointed out to me how Polar tree leafs shimmer and "dance" in a cool summer breeze. As we stood there and watched I could hear the leafs rustling lightly and this came to mind.
Then this big black bird flew above us and pooped on my car! My next piece will be "Fly By Pooping Blackbird".

Thumbs up Re: New Demo from Styxx - Poplar Tree Dance

Very cinematic! And a very nice fullness to it -- evocative and lovely! Lovely, restrained orchestration.

    Congrats!

    hi styx,
a very fine use of small dynamicly orchestration.
i like the piece for me to chill out.
Could have a more bombastic room, i would try a church.

    good work

Hey Styxx, what's this talk all the time about not being able to compose? Kind of like the pool shark that says he's never touched a cue?

    Anyway, this is very nice.
