    Satie/Ravel Gymnopedie #1

Here is my arrangement of Gymnopedie #1, which owes much to Ravel's arrangement of Gymnopedie #3, now that I listen to it again, (plus Barber, Copand, and Hollywood...) but, I like how it came out just the same, and it came out fast too, in evening...

    Hi Mark,

This is nice! Was this a notation software playback? What are you using?

I think that the only improvement might be to vary the dynamics a bit more.

But otherwise - very well done and a good choice for a piece to get learning the GPO!

hi, thanks for your comments. This was recorded straight out of Sibelius using the GPO Player.

    Matolen,

I've always loved this piece, and you did a great job with it. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks! I love the Gymnopedies as well.
I think one of those rare moments of "inspiration" since it came together so fast for me (not really any formal training in my background.)
