    Dbl Bass Problems

    Dbl Bass Solo / Ens1 / Ens2:

inconsistent vibrato and timbre note to note (check out G#3 to A3)

clearly discernable beats in F#3 and below when note is sustained

Don't want post this without saying, in general, the solo strings are great!

    billp,

Thanks for the report. Those double bass players can be an unruly group. We will look into this and if needs be we can address it in the next update.

Thanks, Gary. I'm looking forward to the update.

It's taking me a while to bore down methodically into the product, when I can have so much more fun just recreating some of my earlier pieces with these great samples.

    GPO'ers...
Do I hear adjacent string noise in the tremolo basses? Try listening to the top G to the top E and see if you hear an "almost octave" below the tremolo pitch--It hits about a second or so into a sustained note in that upper range.

Or have I been sitting next to too many drummers?
