Well, I'd throw in the hometown favorite Benaroya, but since I've never been to the ones on the list, I can only assume they have even better acoustics. Which would be pretty impressive.

Talking Re: The Best Concert Halls in the World

    Gary,

"introduces the famous concert hall in the world that Mr. Fischer and Haydn Orchestra had played..."

I see now...The list seemed a bit strange to me at first. Definitely missing:

Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires (I swear you drop a pin on stage and you hear it 100 meters away.)
    Carnegie Hall, New York
    Concertgebow, Amsterdam

I would sack from the list:

Avery Fisher. Has gotten better over the years, but will never be a "great hall"
    Dorothy Chandler Pavillion. Dry...
Bamberg. It is OK acoustically, sort of standard german hall, but quite small.

    My 2 cents,

    Rodolfo

@ Craig: Maybe Gary is selecting the venue for the GPO competition...

    Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Go sample that one Gary, from multiple perspectives and with multiple "player" positions

Does anybody have impulse reverb files of any of these places? Or actually, does anyone have any good impulse files in general? I just realized that the audio program I use (Adobe Audition) has convolution capabilities for using impulse reverbs, so I'd like to try some of those.
