    Optimising PC for some VST

    Hello,

I'm interesting about the VST Moog and VST Charlie (B3 organ) ... so my question is : what kind of PC can I have to play it in realtime ? P4, 2 gig RAM ? I only have an old P3 600, 256 RAM

    Thank you,

Look for minimum specs for each VST - the MMV will be heavier on CPU.

    Hi SyQuEsT,

Be careful with minimum specs also. These are often the absolute minimum and won't allow you to do anything else. I agree that the Minimoog VST will be heavier on CPU. However, I believe that Charlie is sample-based and will most likely be heavier on RAM. 256 MB of RAM will not get you very far these days with the current tools. You need to seriously look at upgrading that PC before investing too much in the latest VST's and sample-based instruments IMHO.

    HTH and good luck,
    FV

    Hi SyQuEsT,

Then you have nothing to worry about.
