Talking Friends Of Garritan Christmas Album 2019 Volume 16

    Hello Everyone,

As the last day of Christmas has now passed by, it's a good time to think of our new project to give prospective contributors maximum time to prepare tracks.

We warmly welcome both regular and new contributors. Do please take a little time to read our entry requirements below to avoid disappointment should we be unable to accept a nomination.

For our 2019 Volume 16 Album we are reverting back to the previous requirements of one song per person and a song being nominated just once. Please see the following full list of nomination requirements.

    Your song must:

    * Be nominated just once with one song per person. (So no medleys please).
    * Use Garritan libraries only but can include a 'live' singer or choir.
    * Have no live recordings of instruments as listeners might confuse with libraries.
    * Have a duration of no more than four minutes.
    * Be your own arrangement or 'performance' from the public domain or an original Christmas song.

The deadline for sending in all entries is October 31st. As before, sending in a song is no guarantee that it will be included on the CD.

Those who nominate their songs retain full ownership of their arrangement/recording/original composition; this is not compromised in any way by anyone.

Do please PM me or send an email if you would like to discuss anything.

    Very best wishes,

    Michael

Hello and Happy New Year Everyone!

This year, I would like to submit "The Huron Carol" ('Twas in the moon of wintertime...), Perhaps not the most well-known of the traditional songs, in Canada it is known as the Canada's Oldest Canadian Christmas song", as the tune dates from approx 1640, more than 2 Centuries before there really was a country called Canada.
    Cheers,

    Hi Michael!

Put me down for "something." Don't know what it is yet. It may be an original. Got the germ of an idea in my head. Just have to see where it goes.

    Thanks!
