    This is not right!

    Today is the December,2018, the time is 10 AM, (in Mexico) and on this Forum. on Garritan Central, all three sites are showing my name as the last poster. I am amazed and sad.

    I exercise two hours every morning so that I can so I can continue to experience views like this. Afternoons are for music.

    You can see the Marmot Pass trail below to the right from my view on Buckhorn Mountain.

    Nice view!! Any more snow this time of year? I'm just across the water from Pt Angeles and the north face of the mountains is pretty white right now!

    This was taken on June 19th 2018. Yes, the mountains are getting snow on them now but it looks like it’s going to be mixed with rain this week except for the higher elevations. I’m a fair weather, fairly clear trail hiker so my season starts again about May on the river trails.

    Buckhorn Mountain is in the Buckhorn Wilderness which is dryer than the rest of the Olympics as you can tell. Mount Townsend, whose trail is accessed by the same main FS road is always the first high elevation destination to be almost snow free. I guess that’s because this area is in the Mount Olympus rain shadow like Sequim is.
