    ~ ~ Béesau - Invocation à César Franck ~ ~

    Hello to all,

Here's a piece by another forgotten composer, Beesau Joseph,
who was born in Russia (1871) and died in France (1940).

He was a pianist and organist of Eglise Saint-Etienne in Rennes.
And that is all the information I found about him.

    It was composed for piano/harmonium/organ
    and I orchestrated it.

    Enjoy!

Manu thanks. What a wonderful composition. I recognized a bit Franck. Nicely done.

    Hi Yudit,

Very well done indeed. It's not only a wonderful little composition, your orchestration stands marvellously and supports the true spirit of the original. Good rendition as well!

    Many congrats!

    Raymond,

    I'm glad you liked it.
I enjoyed very much working on this little piece.

I also was reminded of Franck's music,
a movement of his cello sonata.

    Thanks for listening.

Many times I did enjoy your gentle playing of piano, admiring your style. Now, I am impressed by your talent to orchestrate this little jewel. Just lovely, colorful and beautiful.

    Hello Yudi,

This was a wonderful piece to listen to on a sunny Autumn afternoon although the mood felt more like a warm Spring morning.

Your orchestration was perfect for this music and done with much care. I’m sure it was much appreciated as a keyboard invocation but the orchestral instruments cannot but bring a new dimension to this work.

    Ah, Yudit...

I - like I am sure most of us - tend to associate your music with a piano. Your ability to find hidden jems and pefectly render them is amazing.
We know though that you can be as effective with differently orchestrated pieces. You won't believe it, but I still have on my drive your "Rondoletto", I believe ~2011. And I underline that I do not download much music...

Once again good job, very good. The composition itself is not "unforgettable" but surely has a certain charme, and your orchestration flows smoothly and effectively.

... one thing I HATED is that violin. I know very well where it comes from, I could spot that sound from a mile. Do yourself a favor and get another one, you absolutely need a more expressive virtual instrument.

    Jos,

I still have this music playing in my ears...
Somehow, as a result of all the work done with it
and my complete involvement in it,
I have the feeling that it is sort of 'mine'.

Sometimes a musical phrase comes to my mind
and I'm not sure whether it is my composition
    or someone else's...

I play a large amount of new scores constantly
and I'm thrilled to bring here my findings.

Thanks for listening and for your words of appreciation!

    Ted,

I'm delighted to read your response.

It is really a great pleasure for me to take a piano piece
    and orechestrate it.

Painting is another pleasing occupation for me
and orchestrating is very much like creating a painting.

Thanks for listening and your warm words.

    Phil,

Good to hear from you again and get such a lovely response.

It's a real mystery as to what happened in the lives of some
composers and why they became famous or were forgotten.

It was indeed a pleasure to give this piece, as you said,
    a new dimension.

    Thanks for listening!
