    ~ ~ Letting go ~ ~

    Hi,

A few weeks ago I got inspired to improvise.
When the flow came to an end tears welled up in my eyes...
    and I didn't know why...

A few days later the words "Letting go" came up...
    and then I knew why...

I have not picked up on the ending, except to say that it was one of the most uplifting moments I have ever heard. Literally stunning.

Not wanting to repeat myself, still has to say that you are special. If I may, I just suggest that you should "improvise" constantly, focus on your own ideas, this piece proves that you should. Concentrate on yourself, and let these beauties flow from you hands.
Gave me a tear up too.

I thought I was having a 'senior moment' cause it took me 2 minutes to figure out your balloons were the link..

A beautiful piece with some soft shades of 'wistfulness' to it. I guess it's a combination of my age, and the talent of you, and others here - but I 'hear' the years of experience, emotions, and thoughts in your piece.. It says and implies much.

Many years ago, I read "The Contemporary Composer" (if I recall right).. The first sentence really hit me. It said something like

'Every note should have a purpose, if it doesn't, delete it.'..

    You did that excellently.

    Hi Yudit,

What a beautiful and heartfelt piano piece with wonderful musical changes.

    Technical perfection.

    Ted,

I don't mind you repeating yourself if I get a reaction as this one...
I, most certainly, will continue to improvise whenever I get the inspiration.
Music, for me, is very high in my priorities.
Many thanks for listening and for your words of advice.

    Mark,

There's no doubt that I have expressed in this piece a variety of
emotions and thoughts that are a result of my experiences.
Nevertheless, I'm not aware of what they are exactly since
they have gone through a transformation process.

I completely agree with the author of the book you mentioned.
Quite often I play or hear a piece which could have been
more clear and direct without certain parts or individual notes.

Thanks for listening and your comments.
