Exquisite. I loved the tempo changes.. Extremely effective.. Yes the piano arpeggios, were ripples.. Truly beautiful work.. I greatly admire a composer, who can take a solo instrument, and create a very beautiful piece, without extraneous voices.
Hi Yudit,
It's always pleasant to hear such a delightful composition without any searched complexity in perfect harmony. Very nice movement in the piano.
Thanks for sharing this little gem!

angelonyc,
The piano is my instrument and, in a sense, is a whole orchestra.
It's good to hear you found the tempo changes effective.
It's a true challange to take a mechanical sounding MIDI file
and turn it into a life-like performance.
I'm learning a lot in this process and with every new piece
I work on I find new ways to do that.
Many thanks for listening and commenting.

Just lovely, very well done, thanks for posting it

Jos,
I like simplicity at its best. Even a simple piece of music
has many components which, all together, create the whole.
So, from this point of view, a simple piece can also be complex.
It all comes down to the fine details.
Although I'm content with my achievement in this piece,
there's always room for improvement...
Thanks for listening and finding this piece a gem.

Yudit,
Your Ripples was beautiful and relaxing. Interesting how your improvisations fit together as if they were always meant to be this work.
This piano piece made me think of ripples in a brook running through the country side on a warm sunny day.
Phil
Phil,
Working with bits and pieces of improvisations is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
You have to find where each part fits and was meant to be.
I had a similar vision, of a brooklet, running leisurely in a quiet forest...
Thanks for listening and commenting.

Wonderful. Among all so-called musical noise lately, finally a piece with lovely melody.
Greetings,
