    Re: Sonar to Reaper

It is a pleasure to see your name again.
Could you tell me why would change from Sonar to Reaper?
Apart from nonexistent Tech service, the (for me) the unnecessary complications and clutter, Sonar is working. What is better in Reaper?
    Thanks

    Re: Sonar to Reaper

I’ve messed with Reaper a little. I’ve never heard of it being called user friendly but mostly customizable and inexpensive. It seems to take a little geekiness to become comfortable with it. For the non-pro it’s only $60 if you decide to purchase it. If it was copy protected and $200 to $500 could it compete?

    Re: Sonar to Reaper

I'm not promoting Reaper, neither I wish to start a theological argument about DAWs.
Just knew that Sonar went out of development and found this thread worth to spread the new.

Ted, I spend very little time at pc lately; I travel frequently to Sardinia for family reasons, then I'm involved in two rock bands (well, until I recover from right arm pain). Hope to be in the number for Christmas Album, we will see…
