Everyone ill here, it's the season of the year. But your lovely Christmas music brings so much peace and beauty that we can forget the discomfort. You've produced a very nice orchestral (coral) sound, so sweet and yet clear and close. Just wonderful.
Thanks for such a delightful Christmas gift!
Jos
Thank you Jos, and I am sure that the illness is only cold or flu. We used to get this misery maybe twice a year, but since we are getting our flu-shots we are free from it. Also, we have a medication, called Cold Effects, a specific extract of NA ginseng, helping us to increase our resistance to infections we are exposed in planes (Petri dishes of bacteria growth).
My father had a good friend who was also his doctor, he was called when my father had the cold, and this good doctor ordered brandy for both of them, instructing my father to place a hat on the bed-post, and drink until he can see two hats. He also said that if there is no improvement, do not put the hat there and still drink until he can see two. I don't think that they did this together, but they sure had fun..
Thanks again, and hope you'll get better soon.
Very nice, an eloquent piece.. Finding that balance to make a piece sound Xmasy is not that easy.. You want some merry, some religious (but not too much).. You found the perfect balance. I found the vocal choir really 'fit' in excellently.. It sounds more present, and real than many choirs.
Very romantic and beautiful, a true pleasure. It sounds a bit sad as a christmas tribute but as you know I appreciate sad songs, also at christmas times.
Happy new year, Ted.
