Lullaby themes for strings and winds

    Hi again,
so nice to see this forum up and running again. I have missed all the tunes posted here.
This tune consists of several variations of a Lullaby theme. Sometimes it works well as a lullaby for my children.

    Greetings,
    Kjell

    Hi Kjell,

Good to hear another work of yours.

I liked the strings as a constant driving force from start to end.

Also good variations and richly woven motives.

Looking forward to your next piece.

Very well executed - I don't believe I've heard you use the strings in such a purely effective and classical manner before. This could easily be ballet music.

This lullaby definetely speaks for the lives of children everywhere.

    A beautiful and deep statement.

    Yudit, Tom, Phil
Thanks for your much appreciated comments.
Tom, I did some re-rendering of the viola, hopefully it improved from my previous tacks. Interesting idea about ballet. I actually once saw a ballet version of Mahler's Adagietto, very unexpected but beautiful.

    Greetings
