    Dude...Tis sooooooooooo worth it.

You will not find anywhere a more comprehensive book on film music . It has tons of full score examples from films. Big films too , plenty of Williams,Horner et al. Sections on everything you would need to study. You\'d pay (well I am guessing) $50 for a sample library.

Yeah, it sounds great! I wish I could find it in a library, or something, though.

I am a film music Nut. I have pretty much every book there is. I have bought many used as they are out of print. Some are great, some are lousy but only one is like sitting with a composer. This book is it . If you live in LA you can probably look at it at Samual French ( a truly great book store ). In it you will find Chapters on how to use (for film) Harmony. Orchestration, Timing, Melody . All with examples . Yeah I have complaints. Not nearly enough Bernard Herrmann ( the best) for my tastes. Too much Horner. But these are quibles. I paid $120 for my copy. It\'s worth more!@#$%^&*(. It is a big book too. Probally three inches thick.
