As of Monday, Earbits was toast. The four year old independent music service which had raised $1.7 million, enabled artists and labels to "buy" plays, promote and connect with fans. By Tuesday, the site was entirely offline. Late on Thursday night, however, Earbits rose from the dead. Everything - the web service and all mobile apps - relaunched.
