OT: Accessing Giga ports 2,3 and 4 over a network

Hi everyone, I\'m sure I\'m missing something obvious and will feel like a fool but...

I cant figure out how to call up say; midi channel 1 on port 2 of Giga on my second DAW.

I have; midi out from my keyboard running to a usb midi in on DAW-1. I then go OUT of the usb midi interface IN to the midi input of DAW-2

So in Cubase, for me to trigger midi on DAW-2 at all, I have to set the midi output of the track to; EDIROL UM-1 Midi

So how do I trigger ports 2, 3 or 4?

    Thanks, Scott.

You need discrete MIDI-ports for every Giga port. I use MIDI over Lan for this, it works quite elegantly, and is far cheaper than mulitport MIDI hardware.

Thanks Bruce, (smacks head) I have MOL, I have only used it in the past to create a named pipe (midi connection between two apps on the same machine) between Cubase and Vegas.

Ill definetely try MOL across the network.

    Scott.
