Hi, so what I want to do is in principle very straight forward: manage the internal sound module on my Roland RD-300sx keyboard from my computer (Windows or Mac, doesn’t matter).

I bought this keyboard principally because it’s a great stage piano. But afterwards discovered by reading through the manual (ya, reading those do teach you a few things sometimes) that the sound module was fully controllable with the onboard controls. I mean full control like VCF, attack, decay etc…
Since the keyboard has a USB port (used for MIDI) I wanted to know if there was software out there, either by Roland or a third party, that could also control the sound module in my keyboard from the computer. Ideally the software would represent the sound envelope of the particular sound from the sound module and allow me to shape it from the computer.

Anyone have any insight about such a thing?

Thanks!

Hi Frank

If you are talking about controlling the MIDI CC controls, then most DAW's should do this ... even the free ones like Cubase LE etc.
