Hi all,

let's say you play (using the open 1st trumpet)

the following notes F# A G A Bb C
-- 16th notes-- 1/4 note

you repeat this phrase 4 times. (The F# is a 16th note too)

On the C (1/4 note) you want a nice fall.

Can anybody capture the event list page in Sonar 5.0 showing how you would've entered the CC:?? so that all of the other notes do not incur a drop.

TIA

Alan,

I use the Piano roll view for editing such as this. Place a CC15 controller with a value of 0 at the beginning of the track. Then place another CC15 with a value of between 33-64 just after the C that you want the fall. The place another CC15 with a value of 0 just before the next note or slightly after the note release of the of the C with the falloff.

Haydn,

Thanks for the tutorial. It seems to me that the event list is a bit easier to inject thoses CC: unless I can magnify that Piano roll.

What's your thoughts?

You can magnify the piano roll view without problems. The buttons are in the bottom right hand corner of the window. You can either put the controllers in the same pain as the notes or you can open up a separate controllers view below the notes. I use the separate controllers view below the notes.
