In addition to computer recording/sampling, i also play the guitar.

I heard a guitar midi written by Uematsu, and decided to record
it with real guitars.

Check it out! :D

I'd like someday for Nobuo himself to hear it.
I think he's enjoy it!

Whoa, holy crap! Duuuude! This sounds incredible, absolutely professional! I mean, I like samples and all, but sometimes it's like a smack of deliciousness to hear a real instrument played with such skill. I really like the extra stylistic bits you added. You have a very good balance between your personal stylings and faithfulness to the original. The recording quality sounds nearly impeccable to my ears. I wouldn't expect to hear anything better from Square themselves. In fact I have some official Square arrangements on CD that aren't as good as this! I bet Uematsu would be proud. You should submit this to Overclocked Remixes and show 'em how it's done! Please, make lots more of these!

Thanks dude!!! :D
I was very excited about this tune as well.
I think it really came out nice. That melody is really
something special. Uematsu's genius is undeniable.

So great to hear your enthusiasm for the recording.
I've been doing
it for a long while, and i'm really dialing it in lately.
Thanks for the great comments!

So what is this "Overclocked Remixes" thing?

Do have a link? I might be able to find it.

Point me there if you dont mind... I'll definatly submit this one..

Thanks dude!

Overclocked Remix is a collection of fan-produced remixes of video game tunes.

Most of them are mediocre, but there are a few talented musicians on there. Jeremy Soule actually has a piece there--search for his name on the site. Be careful; this site can keep you busy for hours if you're not paying attention to the clock.

Did you post this in a different section of this forum before? Or am I just going crazy? Either way, it's awesome.
