Now these recordings are kinda crude because I was just learning to use impulses when I recorded these.

Check 'em out....and Gary if ya don't mind can you replace the excerpt of the first movement with this first movement? Because it's actually complete. If you want you can put the third movement up there too - the instrumentation for it is the same, just add crotales.

Here they go:

EDIT: These you are downloading are the new higher quality first and third movements that was recently uploaded.

First Movement (Adagio - Allegro Maestoso):

Third Movement (Allegro con moto):

You have to copy the WHOLE URL line and paste it into your browser. You can't just click the underlined part because that's not the whole URL.

Why don't you make it easy on everybody and show the entire URL so that we may just click on it to hear your music instead of all of the copying and pasting. That's the way everyone else does it, I believe.

Thanks,

Larry A.

I like the Coplandesque opening and ending sections especially with their chordal feel. The overall open "American" sound to the 1st movement has always been something I really enjoy listening to. Thanks!

Work around for Error Message:

cut and paste the whole line (WITH SPACES) from RIGHT TO LEFT and enter into the internet address line. Please, next time Craig, avoid using spaces in your names!

Okay, these were very enjoyable pieces and very good compositions. I thought the performance was lively, especially the string nuances. There was a definite lack of the machine-gun effect in repeated notes - well done. I thought the reverb was okay but could be better. Also, the mood was rather subdued - for orchestral pieces, I generally prefer greater dynamic contrast.

very enjoyable, I look forward to your next pieces!

Thanks for the comments guys.

On second thought, Gary - DON'T do what I said just yet....I'm going to upload another version.

Oh, and I fixed the hyperlink so now that it's clickable and it will work.
