Hi everyone, I really hope somebody will be able to help me with the following question. I\'m trying to find out what the music was that they used in the last Academy Awards broadcast. It was played during that long series of old movie clips showing the winners of \'best male actors\' in the past. Right before announcing this year\'s best male actor. - A very big and dramatic sound.
Maybe someone can remember the music ...? I\'d really appreciate your help!

Hi Jens,

I am not sure this is the one you are asking about, but in conjunction with The Pianist\'s awards (best male actor, best adaptation, best direction), I believe they used a Chopin Prelude no.4 for piano, in an arrangement for strings (Largo e-minor, Op.28). As I said, I don\'t know if this is the one you refer to. It is very sad, and very beautiful. Here in an arrangement for guitar:

Hans,
thank you very much for your reply!! Actually I was also looking for the piece you sent, even though the one I was talking about in my posting is a different one. I really appreciate your help!
Best regards,
Jens
