View Full Version : dvd drive wont read gos dvd version

ive pondered for weeks now on which library to get and finally settled on gos 2-disk dvd set which arrived this morning but i cannot get my dvd drive to even acknowlege the disks have been inserted.

has anyone else experienced this, does anyone have any ideas???
i have win xp and a lite-on dvd ltd-165h

Yes on my Mac with DVD-RAM drive it wouldn\'t recognise them. I just put the disc in and the Mac spits them straight back out again. You\'ll have to contact Gary and get it replaced with the 20 CD version I\'m afraid.

There are two different standards among DVD drives. They are not always compatible as advertised.

Please call me and I\'ll send a 20 CD replacement to you.

thanks, ive spent all day trying different software tweaks to my system and just as i was about to give up (and i dont know how its happend) but for some reason my dvd drive read the disks.

ive coppied them to my hd and im a happy chap now,
ive had a little play but ive been at it for quite a while, so ill get fully into things tomorrow.
